This is such exciting news, my dear friends Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries are engaged!!! I am so happy for her and Kris, they are an amazing couple with so much to offer. I wish them nothing but joy during this time of happiness.
The two announced their engagement on Wednesday (May 25) on the cover of People magazine. According to People.com, Humphries, a forward for the New Jersey Nets and dear friend asked Kim to marry him on May 18 at her Beverly Hills home.
“I didn’t expect this at all,” Kardashian said of the proposal, which included Humphries writing out “Will You Marry Me?” in rose petals in her bedroom. “I was in such shock. I never thought it would happen at home, and I never thought now.”
The couple has been dating for a little more than six months. Later on, the couple celebrated their engagement with a Kardashian family party.
“Kris really didn’t want a big celebration, but he had jokingly told my mom he’d be fine if there were mini-horses there,” she said. “Later that night at the party, my mom brought out two mini-horses, covered in glitter, for us! It was hysterical!”
