Sometimes, we feel like we have to live by a certain set of rules. Grow up, go to school, buy a house, have a family, etc. Maybe society instilled these ideas into our heads, or maybe it was family and friends. Either way, sometimes, when we live like this, we forget ourselves and our dreams in the process. The thing is, this journey is Yours with a capital Y! It’s not anyone else’s. Monday Motivation: 5 Reasons To Do It for You
Let Go of Societal Norms- It’s time to let go of those societal norms. They’ve been ingrained in us from such a young age, so they won’t be easy to let go. Also, let go of people who don’t believe you should go after your dreams and live your life the way you want to live it. They are going by a set of rules that work for them. You are not them.
It’s Your Journey- I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, this is YOUR journey. It’s not anyone else’s. That should be reason alone to go for it and do it for you.
Prove it to Yourself- It can be difficult to believe in yourself. In the beginning, JR and I struggled with this often, but we kept working until we had no choice but to believe in ourselves. We proved it ourselves and everyone else. Work so hard that you have no choice but to believe in yourself.
Live Out Your Dreams- Live out your wildest dreams by going for it! It will take hard work, but you will get there. You can live your life the way you want to live it all by diverting from the path and doing it for yourself. It’s all about taking that first step.
You Can Do it- Listen to me, you’re going to get there. If I can do it, so can you.
