Everyone’s moral compass is calibrated differently. And as much we don’t like to admit it, we judge how tightly wound someone else’s is. We scrutinize the opposite sex for their reasons for cheating, finding them incomprehensible at times then turn around and justify our own actions whenever it suits us. But what happens if your indiscretions lead to a pregnancy? I think that when a child is involved you now have to not only fix your moral compass but change the course altogether. So I ask you, if a child is conceived, does accountability stop at child support or does the man now have to navigate the waters of fatherhood due to the sheer fact that he was working with a ‘faulty device?’
