Shop to Support Japan

Looking to support Japan? Here are just a few ways your
shopping dollars can make their way to Japan to help those affected by the
recent disasters.

In continued support to those affected by the earthquake and
tsunami in Japan, Sanrio has designated Thursday, March 31, 2011 as a “Day
of Donation”. On this day, Sanrio.com and participating Sanrio
Boutique Stores across the United States will donate all net proceeds to the
American Red Cross to benefit Japan earthquake and Pacific tsunami relief
efforts.

Designer Tory Burch unveiled a Japan Relief t-shirt($29), sold
until September 16, where 100 percent of the net proceeds will be donated to
the American Red Cross to benefit the Japan earthquake and Pacific tsunami
relief efforts.

Ana Sui also created a Japan Charity T-Shirt ($20, available in women’s and
men’s), where 100 percent of the proceeds will go to Japan disaster relief.

On the day the devastating earthquake and tsunami hit Japan,
the Sushisamba restaurants launched a $12-sushi roll dubbed Japan Relief Rolls
(eel, shrimp, tamago, cucumber, yamagobo, kelp paper and eel sauce) in hopes of
aiding the families of many of its chefs and staff. All proceeds from the rolls
will be donated to the American Red Cross and its efforts.
