As the weather warms up for spring, there’s no question that love is in the air. If you’re paired up, this is the time to get out and do something fun with your honey. Whether it’s casual or glam, a spring date can add a little fresh romance back into your relationship. JR and I recently took advantage of the beautiful weather following our World Conference to reconnect and have a little fun. And it’s made all the difference. Treat your dates as seriously as you would any other appointment in your life and you’ll soon see the results. To get started, I’m sharing some of my favorite spring date ideas. Read on. xo
Four Fresh Spring Date Ideas
#1. Keep it fun and casual. JR and I recently went for a boat ride, just the two of us, and relaxed. There’s no need to glam up. Just get back to basics, where it all began. A little fresh air on a boat can feel like young love all over again (I even made him laugh!). Keep an eye out for charter deals in your area – they all start to pop up around this time of year.
#2. Snuggle up and catch a romantic movie. It’s one of our favorite things to do. There’s no substitute for the basics, like a great movie night, because it allows you to discuss a new story or new ideas, even if you’ve been together for what feels like forever. The idea is to keep a fresh perspective.
#3. Make it a brunch with friends. If the weather is beautiful, why not get out with the ones you love and make it a group date? Brunch is great when served outdoors with a view. Just below, we caught up with friends like Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz during the Miami Boat Show. Such a simple outing can really be good for the soul.
#4. Enjoy a romantic night out under the stars. Whether you choose to enjoy glam cocktails at your favorite spot or just a simple picnic, a night by candlelight under the spring sky is utterly romantic. Bonus points for finding a spot with live music.
