Stop Doing THIS After Your Breakup

Stop Doing THIS After Your Breakup, breaking up, breakup, break, love, heartbreak

I feel so blessed to have JR in my life. He is a wonderful man. Sure, we get on each other’s nerves sometimes, and we fight like any other couple, but we’re happy. We always make sure each other’s needs are met at the end of the day and to us, that’s what’s important.

Stop Doing THIS After Your Breakup

This isn’t the case for everyone out there. I had a girlfriend who recently went through a breakup. It’s hard to see your girls in pain. She was crying, and it made me want to scream at the guy who broke her heart. Seeing your friend’s in a tough spot isn’t easy. When she started talking about how she could have changed herself or been different in the relationship. That’s when I felt really mad.

I can’t stand it when my girls feel like they need to change themselves in order to be better for someone else. Ladies, if your significant other is making you feel like you need to change, that sounds like what I like to call a “them” problem. It’s a problem that they have within themselves—not with you.

In my opinion, not only are you perfect as you are but you need someone who loves and accepts you as you are. I don’t want you leaving a relationship feeling less than. I don’t want you questioning what you could have done better. I know you’re hurting right now, but keep your chin up. Things are going to get better. I promise. Eventually, the right person will come around. You just have to love yourself fiercely.

Next time you get out of a relationship, instead of being hard on yourself, love yourself as fiercely as you can. That’s the kind of love you deserve.
