Our time is one of the most precious commodities we possess – we can’t exactly get a refund on it, so we have to spend it wisely. During my speech at MAWC 2018 here in Miami, I spoke a lot about why we must go after our goals no matter what, and why we have to stop wasting our time on stupid people.
How to Stop Wasting Time on Stupid People
Stupid people are usually the ultimate negative Nancies. They lack ambition, don’t want to see ‘friends’ better themselves and would rather hang out at parties all the time than work on building a better future. Stupidity isn’t just low IQ brains – it’s a complete lack of worldly wisdom and spiritual awareness shrouded in a layer of negative, heavy energy. Spend time with these people at your peril – they will, quite literally, suck the life, motivation, and energy out of you. There are only two options when dealing with stupid people – detachment or elimination.
Option 1 – Eliminate
Eliminate repeat offenders. It’s that simple.
Option 2 – Detach
You can’t argue with stupid people – they lack the necessary communication and cognitive thinking skills to understand, often responding with aggression. If you cannot eliminate the stupid people disturbing your life entirely due to family or business ties, detach from them. Save your energy and disengage from them so that they stop feeding on your time like a pack of greedy savages.
