Have you heard how Tyra Banks and Ashton Kutcher are helping to launch a new social shopping platform? It seems the two are both taking a leap into the startup world! Ashton has been making a name for himself in the tech community through his venture capital firm, A-Grade Investments. He’s also had a hand in startups like Uber, Spotify and Foursquare. While Ashton’s dipped his toes in startups, Tyra is new to the game. This will be her first investment through her fund, Fierce Capital LLC, but there’s no doubt it won’t be her last. The startup is called The Hunt and it uses social media to help you shop.

While surfing the web, when you find something that appeals to you – a gadget, a piece of furniture, a pair of shoes you saw a celebrity wear – you can upload the URL or just post a picture of it, which lets everyone else browsing the site know that you’re trying to find out where to get that product.” – Forbes
