Everyone is talking about the TIME magazine “Are You Mom Enough” controversial cover. The TIME magazine cover features Jamie Lynne Grumet, a 26-year-old California mother breastfeeding her 3-year-old son with the tagline, Are You Mom Enough?
The “Are You Mom Enough?” article also focuses on author William Sears’ 1992 book, The Baby Book. In The Baby Book, Sears argues that his theories on attachment parenting conclude that children will become well nurtured adults through extension of maternal nurturing.The TIME magazine article explores the controversial techniques of attachment parenting which include baby wearing, extended breastfeeding, and co-sleeping.
