There are several ways to be productive at home. It is so easy to fall into the rut of procrastination and laziness while you are at home. Most people start with an intention to be productive but become easily distracted by the television, idle time on the internet, or the inability to really focus. Shake yourself and take procrastination by the horns.
Here are ways to be productive at home:
1. Clear out your inbox.
2. Make the important phone calls that you have been putting off.
3. Network. Shoot a follow up email to a colleague, mentor, or prospective client.
4. Take 10 minutes to set a few goals.
5. Meditate. Clear your mind so that you can focus on the tasks of the last half of the day.
6. Follow up. You had a few meetings or business lunches, use this time to follow up for the next steps.
