Attend an Event- Your local community probably has a slew of Veteran’s Day events! All you have to do is show up and support your local Veterans!
Donate- Donate to an organization that supports Veteran’s. There are so many wonderful organizations support and provide services to our service members.
Fly a Flag- Fly a flag outside of your home! Today makes for a great opportunity to flay a flag, just be sure you’re observing the proper rules of display!
Ask Someone About their Serve- Get educated and learn more about our Veteran’s experience. Ask questions! You don’t have to add anything or be intrusive. Just sit and listen.
Visit a VA Hospital- Spend a day with a Veteran by volunteering at a VA hospital. Helping at a facility is a way to give back.
These are just a few ways to show your appreciation. You could also start a letter writing campaign. All it takes is a thank you!
