While working till the wee hours you unexpectedly spill coffee all over your laptop and paper work. To your disadvantage you didn’t save your most current updates and there is no way of retrieving it. So what do you do?
When life throws you a nasty curveball like this, typically it makes no sense to us making us extremely upset and emotional. Acting like a ranging monster is not going to solve your issue? Obviously. These type of issues leave us feeling helpless, useless and frustrated. So how do you handle this situation?
The smartest and often times the hardest thing we can do is control our temper and our reaction. It’s normal to want to scream and rant, who can blame you. The best way to handle this type of situation is to cam down, rethink your plan, figure out ways that you can solve your dilemma and if all doesn’t work, try your best and be honest with yourself. Emotional rage will only make things works, tragedies and unexpected dilemmas are rarely as bad as they seen, and even when they are they give us the opportunity to learn something about ourselves and grow stronger.
In every difficult moment in our lives is accompanied by an opportunity for personal growth and creativity. Life is short, there’s no point of getting all worked up, take it from me is not the end of the world!
