In incredibly shocking news, reports have confirmed that Prince Rogers Nelson is dead at 57. In a statement released by his publicist Yvette Noel-Schure, it is now known that the artist died in his Minnesota home. According to CNBC, Prince had been battling the flu earlier this month and had been rushed to the hospital after an emergency plane landing. But he went on to play a show after that incident telling fans to “wait a few days before you waste any prayers.” The artist, music legend, and icon, more commonly known as Prince, sold more than 100 million records in his lifetime, leaving behind millions of grieving fans.
