Singer Selena Gomez has joined the Puma family as part of a long-term partnership set to enhance their women’s business. Not only will she be the face, but she’ll also help by designing product and creating marketing campaigns for which she is rumored to be making more than $30 million. Gomez, who has a combined following on social media in the millions, is the perfect partner for the global sports brand because young women admire her.

“Being part of the PUMA family is very exciting for me,” Gomez said via press release. “PUMA has changed the game when it comes to the mash-up of athletic wear and fashion. It’s amazing to see this influence on style and culture and I’m excited to be a part of it. I am hoping that we can create something special together. We already have some really cool projects in the works.”
As part of her collaboration with the brand, Gomez plans to use the platform by working with and supporting causes close to her heart.

It was announced on September 14 that the young hitmaker had undergone kidney transplant with the organ having been donated by her best friend and fellow actress Francia Raisa. The reason she had to have the serious surgery was due to a damaged kidney caused by the chronic autoimmune disease Lupus.
