Turns out Facebook is now dipping into the world of weather! A bold move considering all the awesome weather apps out there, but also a fun feature when you think about it. Recently reported on by Mashable, the new Facebook weather greetings have only been rolled out to a very small subset of users and “Some of them — mostly in the UK — are being greeted with a short “good morning” message with a weather forecast for their location.”

According to The Next Web, “Some Facebook users in the UK are now seeing weather updates in their News Feed on both Android and iOS. They show up as cards, with a greeting based on the time of day, a brief description of the weather, an accompanying illustration and a link to view more detailed information. Clicking through the link shows you the temperature at the current time as well as the maximum and minimum temperatures through the rest of the day.”
