If your target market is aged 16-23 years, you need to have a presence on TikTok. In addition to having 500 million active users, you can get your business name seen by thousands of people without needing any followers with a little know-how.
Take fifteen-year-old TikTok creator Charlie D’amelio; she posts dancing videos mostly from her bathroom, amassing 22.9 Million followers. Amazing! There is so much potential for brands to generate some serious brand awareness for themselves on this platform.
1. Get Real
Create engaging, funny, and unique content to tell people who you are and what you stand for in terms of brand values.
2. Use Trending Hashtags
Head over to the Discover page to find the top trending hashtags to make your post viral. Hashtags like #4upage and #viralvideos work well, but do your research.
3. Find Your Niche
Create a niche, and you’ll target the right TikTok users who’ll engage with your content.
4. Collaborate
Collaborate with other TikTok influencers to quickly build followers interested in your content. Once you’ve identified three or four influencers who share your interests and mission, start engaging with them. Like and comment on their content, share the love, and, more often than not, they’ll reciprocate.
