Technology is the new frontier, which is why I’m so obsessed with it. I’m a bit of a nerd when it comes to news in tech. I always want to know what’s new. 2015 was a big year for technology. A New Wave of Cybercrime- Businesses are starting to realize that cybercrime is a major problem, forcing them to invest a little more in cyber security, meaning we might be seeing a new emphasis on cyber security.
The Internet of Things- The Internet of Things revolves around machine-to-machine communication through sensors and controls like mobile phones or the Internet. Think of the way you can control a nest thermostat. You feel cold and instead of standing up and changing the thermostat yourself, you can control it from your phone. We’re going to be seeing an increase of products controlled by other machines and products. Awesome, right?
Artificial Intelligence- There has always been a certain stigma attached to AI, but the robots are definitely coming. Technology of Business predicts that robots are going to be replacing repetitive tasks to make life easier for everyone. We’ll be seeing how that works out as this year proceeds.
We’re Living in a Mobile World- Using your phone for a payment while out and about is becoming commonplace. This 2016, we’ll be doing a lot more on our phones. They’re becoming the primary tool for almost everything and considering they’re constantly in our purses and pockets, it makes sense.
