JR and I start our days EARLY. 5 AM, people! I know, I know, sleep is amazing. Truly, I understand, but life is worth living when you’re trying to improve yourself and working towards success! The 5 AM Morning Routine to Set You Up for Success
Make your bed- I start off my early mornings by making my bed first thing! It helps me feel like my world is a little more put together and less chaotic. Plus, it’s always nice to slip into a made bed at the end of a long day!
Take care of yourself- Next, I brush my teeth and wash my face. Doing this helps me feel clean and refreshed for the day. Plus it’s nice to take some time for hygiene in the morning.
Workout- I usually workout in the mornings. It’s nice to get my workout done and out of the way in the early morning. It gets me focused so I can use my day to think about everything else.
Stretching and Meditation- JR is big on yoga! It helps him to quiet his mind and focus on his body. I prefer some down time to cool off after a workout. A little bit of meditation makes my morning all the better.
Breakfast- Eating a healthy breakfast is so important to me and JR. We go for shakes, oatmeal, or healthy omelets full of veggies. Health is wealth, people!
