Naturally, I love Motives Cosmetics. It has been a passion project from the very beginning when I set out to create the best possible formulas for makeup that I myself would be excited to use. The rest, of course, is history. Except for the fact that no matter how poplar Motives gets or how widespread its reach, it is and will always be my baby. And like a proud mamma, whenever Motives is mentioned in the press I am elated and couldn’t be more proud.
In the latest press mention, Allure magazine, the go-to source for the latest in beauty and fashion trends, interviewed my sister, La La Anthony asking her about the three beauty products she doesn’t leave home without. Here’s what La La had to say…
“From my makeup line, there is a bronzer [Motives for La La Mineral Bronzing Shimmer Powder] that I love because it can be used for so many things: to highlight the cheekbones, as eyeshadow, I mix it with lotion and put it all over my body for shimmer. That’s definitely a favorite product of mine. Motives also has such great lip glosses—we call them Lip Shines. I feel like this summer it’s all about not being afraid of color, and those glosses are available in every color. The last thing I would say is that when you’re working as hard as I have been, concealer is very important. Motives has a great concealer [Motives for La La Color Perfection Quad] for hiding bags under your eyes. Today I had a 4 a.m. call time, so it’s a day where concealer was very helpful.”
