There’s nothing like your closest friends and family. You know what I mean? There’s no doubt that having close friends in your life is important, but when those friends become family and business partners – it makes everything even better. For years now, we have been best friends with La La and Carmelo Anthony and I am so thrilled that our friendship has blossomed and strengthened to a place where they really feel like part of the family. We’ve all been together through some pretty amazing times, but tough times too – because that’s just life. But our bond and our friendship has kept us cheering one another on.
These past few weeks have brought good news all around and just after the Market America World Conference, we all (La La, Carmelo, JR and I) headed to Puerto Rico to spend some time in the sun at our new home in Dorado Beach. My girl La La was looking gorgeous as ever (don’t you love her white swimsuit?)…
And, we also were thrilled to congratulate Carmelo on the announcement of signing the first two players to the Puerto Rico Football Club. We have all been so excited for him as he embarked on this next new adventure: owning a soccer team! Incredible, right? Not to mention exciting for Puerto Rico to have global exposure as part of the North American Soccer League!

The icing on the cake? JR is opening a Global Service Center for our Market America business in Puerto Rico and we couldn’t be more thrilled about it. As my husband said, this trip has been “the perfect combo of work, fun, fam + play,” and it’s so special to have La La and Carmelo along for that ride.
