More than 27,000 people from over 96 different countries gathered today to run the annual Boston Marathon, only to face two horrific explosions at the finish line around 3 pm. The cause is unknown and police are advising those close to the site to stay away from trash cans and suspicious packages that could be potentially dangerous. The surrounding area is on lockdown, including nearby subway stops. The Boston Police Department is releasing updates via Twitter, confirming that at least 22 100 injured and 2 3 are dead. My prayers are with those who are suffering in Boston right now.
