It’s finally fall and with October, a lot of new titles are set to arrive via Netflix and we have a full list for you to get excited over. The biggest return of the month is season two of “Stranger Things” premiering October 27. Yes you have to wait until nearly the end of the month but this show is so worth it. What you can expect has been kept very hush hush but I imagine the adorable kids will be battling monsters once again. Being that their premiere is so close to Halloween, we’re hoping things get a whole lot spookier.
What To Expect on Netflix in October
“Suburra: The Series” is a crime thriller set in Rome that describes how the Church, the state, organized crime, local gangs and real estate developers collide and blur the lines between the legal and the illicit in their quest for power. At the heart of the story three young men with different backgrounds, ambitions and passions will have to forge alliances to achieve their deepest desire. “Suburra” hits the streaming giant’s servers starting October 6.
On October 13, subscribers can catch season 1 of the new series “Mindhunters” on Netflix. Based on the book “Mind Hunter: Inside The FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Unit” written by Mark Olshaker and John E. Douglas, the show tells the story of an agent in the FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Unit who develops profiling techniques as he pursues notorious serial killers and rapists.
Netflix loves Adam Sandler and hopefully you do as well. His new comedy “The Meyerowitz Stories” is set to premiere on October 13 via the streaming giant. Be prepared for grudges and rivalries which abound as three adult siblings converge in New York to contend with their prickly artist father — and his fading legacy. Other cast members including Ben Stiller, Dustin Hoffman and Emma Thompson.
Fe de etarras, set to stream on October 12, is a unique title that takes place during a particularly hot summer in a small Spanish town in 2010. A peculiar, dysfunctional armed group, formed by a veteran eager to prove he is not a coward (Javier Cámara), a couple seemingly held together by ETA (Miren Ibarguren and Gorka Otxoa) and a man from La Mancha who believes becoming a member of the organization or being Chuck Norris is one and the same (Julián López), find themselves stuck in a flat awaiting an elusive phone call which would allow them to go into action. To top it all, the Spanish national football team wins the World Cup in South Africa and has the whole country celebrating.
