Art Basel is in full swing in Miami with events taking place in every corner of the city. As I shared with you yesterday, my friend Victoria Beckham has been in town working on several projects. One of those events was a fundraiser JR and I hosted for David and Victoria to raise awareness for World AIDS Day. Thanks to our friends helping to make this intimate dinner a success, over $200,000 were raised for Born Free.
World AIDS Day Fundraiser with David & Victoria Beckham
We are so grateful to our friends Gloria and Emilio Estefan, Joseph “Fat Joe” Cartagena, Kamal Hotchandani, Mayor Philip Levine, Cliff Floyd, Scottie Pippen, Larsa Pippen, and every single friend who joined us. Thanks to Hublot, we were able to auction off a one-of-a-kind watch designed by the incredibly talented artist, Mr. Brainwash. Mr. Brainwash also donated an original painting to benefit the cause.
JR and I were honored to help raise awareness for such an important cause. As UNAIDS Global Goodwill Ambassador, Victoria is doing very important work and we are happy to support her in any way we can. Just ahead, some photos from the event.
