What could possibly be better than chocolate? A whole day dedicated to celebrating it, of course! Fun fact: July 7 is officially known as “World Chocolate Day”. I am a self-proclaimed “chocoholic” and celebrate chocolate year-round and I just love finding new ways to incorporate chocolate into recipes and my daily life, from smoothies to cocktails to skincare and everything in between.
Celebrate World Chocolate Day with Delicious Cocktail Recipes
For all of you fellow chocolate-lovers out there, I have three easy chocolate martini recipes to share! Check them out below to enjoy your drink and dessert at the same time and let me know which is your favorite. Cheers!
GODIVA® Chocolate Martini
Ingredients:
1.5 oz. of your favorite GODIVA® chocolate liqueur
0.75 oz. CIROC® vodka
Directions:
In a cocktail shaker, shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with your favorite GODIVA® chocolate truffle and indulge. For an indulgent finishing touch, drizzle chocolate syrup around the inside of your martini glass before pouring.
Chocolate & Orange Martini
Ingredients:
1 oz. vodka
½ oz. white crème de cacao
Dash of orange liqueur
Directions:
Shake the ingredients with ice in a cocktail shaker. Strain into the prepared glass.
To make the chocolate rim:
Place chunks of chocolate into a heat-safe bowl. Place this bowl over a pot of water. Heat and simmer the water until the chocolate is completely melted. Pour the melted chocolate onto a place and dip the rim of the cocktail glass into the chocolate. Stand the glass upright. Allow the chocolate to set. Chill the glass.
Chocolate Cherry Martini

Ingredients:
3 oz. cherry vodka
3 oz. chocolate liqueur
3 oz. sweet cherry juice
½ tsp lemon juice
Maraschino cherries, for garnish
Directions:
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add the vodka, chocolate liqueur, cherry juice and lemon juice. Shake vigorously and strain into 2 martini glasses. Garnish with maraschino cherries.
