Visualization Leads to Success!

Ever since I can remember, when I’m alone, I talk to myself. In my mind and sometimes out loud when I’m in a room by myself or in the car, I visualize exactly how I want my life to be.

I’m interviewed by the top journalists in the world about my multi-billion dollar enterprise and how I started as an entrepreneur. I would have discussions with my team at corporate business meetings held in my own office building. I’m always on the red carpet getting interviewed by E! and Giuliana Rancic. When I’m listening to music, I see myself at events and parties with my wealthy friends, networking and having a great time! When specials like VH1’s “Behind the Music” comes on television, I sit there and think of how I’m going to do my own documentary one day.

What will I say? Who will I inspire? All sorts of thoughts run through my mind. I’ve been visualizing for years, even until this day, and it not only helps me to feel better when I am having a rough day, but it is also my way of putting what I want into the universe.

Visualization Leads to Success!

I often wondered, “Am I crazy for talking to myself and is this abnormal to think this way?” That changed the day I watched an episode of Oprah’s Life Class where she showed a 1997 interview that she did with Jim Carey. He explained how before he got in the entertainment business he would  “pretend” or visualize how his life would be. By that I mean, he would do the EXACT same thing that I do now!

He told the story of how when he was broke he would visualize directors being interested in him, people that he respected telling him that they liked his work, he would see things that he wanted coming to him. This made him feel better because he kept telling himself that YES, I do have these things I just don’t have a hold of them yet. Visualization can lead to success, but it’s not magic. Hard work has to be in the equation constantly. Oprah stated, “If you can see it and believe it, it’s a lot easier to achieve.” This is absolutely true.

After watching this interview, it not only reassured me that I wasn’t in fact losing my mind (lol) but it also confirmed that I was indeed on the right track to getting where I wanted to be in life. So if you are reading this and are having an “Ah ha!” moment, you are not crazy!

Remember, YOU BECOME WHAT YOU BELIEVE!!!
