Let’s be honest with ourselves here for a moment and admit something a little embarrassing. We, as women, tend to obsess over our hair sometimes. Some days we spend too much time trying to make it look just right and we all know that that venture may very well end up in a launched hair brush and a ball cap as you run out the door. All too often, we set out to try something new with our manes in the morning. You know, just to mix things up a little, and then end up frustrated and back where we started. It’s a tiring game isn’t it ladies?
Wouldn’t it be helpful if there were something or someone we could turn to for tips and tricks, tutorials, and inspiration to combat our tress troubles and boring hair ruts? Well I have found just the roundup for you!
More than I’m sure we would all care to admit, we turn to YouTube or Pinterest for last minute hair-inspo when we are stuck. And sometimes, the overwhelming content can stress you out more than anything. Well, lucky for you, I have come up with three foolproof sites that you can always count on to pull you out of your rut and keep you from scrolling through multiple lack-luster vids.
As most know, the beautiful Amber Fillerup Clark runs this site, and this gal is your number one go-to for the coolest everyday styles. She is most famous for her intricate-looking, but surprisingly simple braid tutorials and helpful videos for applying and styling clip-in extensions. While I’m not shy to sing my praises for this blogger often, this mane guru is definitely worth the repeat. Seriously, this girl is a genius.
A Beautiful Mess is a blog that was started by two inspiring chicks named Elsie and Emma. Although their site has much more content (that you should totally look into if you have time), the hair section (listed under the “Style” tab) is simply awesome. Their posts will have you feeling all kinds of inspired.
Last, but certainly not least, this site was created by Kristin Ess and Amy Nadine and has now partnered with the girl we all love to love, Lauren Conrad. They’ve not only got some awesome style tutorials, but also tips and tricks for healthier locks. And let’s be honest, any little step that you can take to get closer to imitating Lauren Conrad’s envious mane, you’re going to want to take! Swoon away, ladies.
