3 Unconventional Uses for Eye Cream

That little jar of eye cream may be one of the first things you reach for in the morning and one of the last you put back at night. And you may be very well versed in how crucial it is to take care of the delicate skin around your eyes with this precious ointment. But what you may be overlooking are the various other ways this tiny pot of skincare can boost other areas of the epidermis. If you haven’t tried these yet, I highly recommend taking that eye balm to newer places. Here are 3 unconventional ways to give new life to your eye cream.

3 Unconventional Uses for Eye Cream

1. On your lips – JR and I love using our Lumiere de Vie eye balm on our lips. It keeps them soft and supple. This little secret works because the skin on your lips is quite delicate and sometimes you need a little extra touch to keep them healthy.

2. On the backs of your hands – Most people forget to care for their hands, moisturizing them only once in a while. If you can get into the habit of incorporating them into your daily skincare regimen, your skin will keep its smooth texture. Moisturizing also helps reflect light away from the surface, making hands appear wrinkle-free and younger. Try using any leftover eye cream (or face cream) on the backs of your hand instead of wiping it away.

3. On your décolletage –  Here’s another forgotten area that often gets omitted from the regular skincare ritual. To make the most of your eye cream, dab it in the center of your décolletage to aid in diminishing any fine lines that can develop over time.

Do you use your eye cream for other areas? What are your secrets? Spill them in the comments!
