We’ve all done it. We’ve cringed at the site of cellulite, we’ve wiggled our arms to stare at that extra body fat, or seen a picture of ourselves and let out an instant “ew.” We all think our lives will change once we get that Victoria Secret supermodel body, when you truth is, your body is perfect just as it is. Hating your body isn’t doing you any favors. It’s time to look at that extra arm wiggle with a smile on your face and love in your heart. It’s time for you to love your body.
Those ideal bodies aren’t healthy- That ideal supermodel body isn’t exactly healthy. Those women we see in magazines are super skinny. They’re almost always photoshopped, making them impossible to emulate. This isn’t exactly realistic or healthy, now is it? Let that ideal body image go. Women’s bodies aren’t meant to be perfect and that’s okay.

Celebrate your unique one-of-a-kind beauty by highlighting those parts of you that you love. Show off your best sides everyday. Show yourself the love you deserve.
Food gives you energy- Let go of your unhealthy relationship with food. Look at yourself in the mirror and remind yourself that food gives you energy and nourishment. Food is good for you. Keep that at the forefront of your mind, try to eat healthy, but also don’t berate yourself for eating something unhealthy. You had a Snickers bar. So what? It happens! Food is delicious and meant to be enjoyed.
You won’t change once you get that ideal body- If you’re of the mindset that thinks the ideal partner will show themselves once you start loosing weight, your wrong. Change your mindset. Nothing will change once you get those ideal abs. Nothing will change unless you do, which is why loving your body now is so important.
You’re perfect as you are- You’re human so it’s okay that you feel inadequate. Being imperfect is a part of the game. You’re perfectly imperfect, yet beautiful all at the same time. Remind yourself that the next time you feel yourself hating the way that you look. There’s no need for that.
