Since I’m going to be a Lola soon (grandma! 🙂 )I wanted to share some morning sickness tips for my mommies to be or readers that have friends expecting little ones. Having a baby is the most incredible gift. Bringing a new life into the world and creating a family is a beautiful and special process; pregnancy is a truly extraordinary time. But if your early stages of pregnancy are riddled with nausea, finding ways to get rid of morning sickness may be just what you need to focus on this amazing experience.
5 Ways to Kick Morning Sickness
- Stay hydrated. Seems simple, I know, but it’s a proven fact that hydration helps with nausea. So, keep the water flowing!
- Try drinking ginger tea. Ginger is an excellent solution for morning sickness, especially when you have it through tea. You can make it yourself with fresh ginger or purchase ginger tea bags at your local health food store.
- Give vitamin B supplements a whirl. Some women have said that 25 milligrams, 3 times a day help significantly with morning sickness.
- Cool down. Try a fresh fruit popsicle to cool you down and give you a little natural sugar boost after vomiting.
- Drink ginger ale. Room temperature, flat ginger ale is a great cure for morning sickness. And, it really works!
If you’re still not feeling well, make sure to call your doctor.
