If you’re anything like me, you’re constantly on the lookout for ways to bring a healthy balance into your life – and that certainly includes diet. Whether you’re someone who thrives on constantly changing up your diet routine or you stick with the same plan all the time, it’s great to have some low calorie options in your back pocket for anything from breakfast to snacks to dinners. I have my favorites, that’s for sure, but I also love to mix it up with new options – especially when it comes to snacks. Here’s a few of my favorites, if you’d like to see.

Arugula – this is great for salads, adding to sandwiches and for a quick side dish to any dinner. It’s a little spicy and a great way to change things up from regular lettuce.

Celery – this is a go-to snack for me for sure. I love dipping in anything from almond butter to guacamole – it’s an excellent way to avoid chips and crackers!

Popcorn – easily one of my favorite snacks, perfect for at-home or on-the-go, it’s a great low cal option that can be easily spiced up with a sprinkle of chili powder, parmesan or even coconut oil.
Blackberries – this fiber-filled fruit is SO good for you. Packed with antioxidants and low-cal, it’s the perfect option for fruit lovers. One of my favorite ways to eat blackberries? Cod – if you’re afraid of cooking fish, don’t be! Once you get the hang of it, it’s super easy and SO good for you.
