  1. Fill up on healthy fibers like nuts, seeds, beans and grains.
  2. Go organic! GMOs are prohibited from organic products, so read those labels.
  3. Keep your eyes open for the non-GMO-verified seal.
  4. Read labels and watch out for unnecessary additives.
  5. Skip foods from the high-risk list: cottonseed, soybeans, canola, sugar made from sugar beets and corn.
  6. Say no to synthetic sweetener’s like aspartame (often found in diet sodas).
  7. Go for a diet loaded with fresh veggies and fruits, but make sure you go organic.
