Who’s the Fairest One of All: Beauty Tips & Tricks to Look Your Best
Vitamin E Oil
Use vitamin E oil in place of your regular face and body lotion overnight for total hydration and an all-over glow.
Vaseline
Apply Vaseline to your pulse points (behind your ears, base of your throat, inside of your elbows, behind your knees, belly button) and then finish with a spritz of your favorite fragrance in each spot for a scent that lingers all day.
Facial Cream/Serum/Oil
Apply your facial cream, serum, and/or oil in an upward motion to reduce puffiness and promote elasticity in the face.
Coconut Oil
Melt some coconut oil and mix in some brown sugar in a small, reusable jar for a quick-and-easy all-natural DIY lip scrub.
Turmeric
Mix one tablespoon each of turmeric and buttermilk to create a paste. Then apply underneath your eyes for about 15 minutes to brighten your dark circles.
Tea Bags
Steep two caffeinated tea bags in hot water then squeeze out the liquid. Allow the tea bags to cool in the refrigerator before placing them over your eyes to reduce puffiness.
Face Powder
Only powder the center of your face, primarily in your T-zone area and leave the perimeter of your face powder-free for a dewy and more natural look.
Concealer
If you want the focus of your beauty look to be your eyes, make sure to pop some concealer on underneath your eyes, on your nose, and on your chin. Blend with a makeup brush for a natural effect, and finish with a powder to prevent caking.
Setting Spray
You can use setting spray a few different ways besides just to set your makeup. Spray some product onto your eyeshadow brush, then pick up the pigment for a really intensified look that also helps your eyeshadow stay on longer. You can also use it to wet your foundation sponge and help seal in your foundation look for hours of flawless coverage.
