I’m a strong believer that a little bit of concealer, two coats of mascara and blush are all the makeup you need on a daily basis. Strong cheeks are in this season and I love the different blush shades out there from a frosted pink to peach to plum – it all depends on your skin tone and the shape of your face! To wear blush correctly so that it enhances your natural beauty and brings out your facial features, here are simple rules to follow when applying blush for face shape:
1. Round faces should apply blush for face shape above the apples of the cheeks and blend with a contouring powder underneath the cheekbone down to the jawline.
2. Long faces can apply blush for face shape along the apples of the cheeks straight to the ears.
3. Square faces can apply blush for face shape on the apples of the cheeks up to the temples and along the chin and jawline for a softer look.
