As we begin October, we turn our attention to Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time to educate ourselves on and raise awareness for breast cancer, a disease that affects more than 220,000 women each year. As many of you know, this is a cause that is very personal to me and something that I hope to make an impact on when it comes to testing and early detection. To begin, there are 3 special items you can shop for on SHOP.com where proceeds will go to Earlier.org.
I hope you’ll stay tuned this month as I share ways in which you can help lend support to this cause as well as how to get tested, and ways to get involved year round. To kick it off, here are some ways you can become involved in Breast Cancer Awareness Month events. Any little bit of time you can contribute will go a long way. Read ahead for more.
