Armey suggests we stay away from extractions when you have a special event coming up. She explained, “it’s a really bad idea as it may make the skin red or sensitive post. Instead, I’d focus on using a lactic acid-based product to brighten the skin without any peeling.”
Have you noticed how popular facial and body oils have become recently? It seems like brands, both expensive and mass market, have jumped on board and created formulas that people are going crazy for. Armey is not a fan.
“Lots of people recommend using oils on skin but I personally don’t like to use them for massage – I find them messy, comedogenic, and sometimes find that essential oils can overwhelm the skin. I use my own blend of vitamins when giving a facial, but also sometimes apply Neo-Strata Firming Collagen Booster.”

If you’ve never tried a laser, it may be a good time to give it a chance if you have an event coming up. Even if you can’t travel across to hire her herself, she shares tips on what to look for when hiring a professional.
“If you can get to a good facialist pre-event, radiofrequency is a great way to tighten, while an intense blast of hyaluronic acid can work wonders, too – I just got a Cryoskin machine in my treatment rooms and love using it before a big event.”
