It’s already common knowledge that I love to drink tea on sleepy afternoons, curled up next to a good book. Tea is best for when you want to relax and take a moment for yourself, but did you know that tea also has a bunch of benefits that go beyond drinking it; specifically, beauty benefits? Yup, it’s a great defamatory, plus different types have different properties to help with things like sunburns and puffy eyes. Read on below to learn more!
De-Puff Your Eyes- If you woke up with puffy eyes this morning after having too much fun this weekend, go for some tea to help make them look less puffy. All you have to do is steep two tea bags before putting them in the fridge to cool down. Next, gently dab them over the affected area and your eye area is as good as new.
Dandruff Control- Control dandruff by creating a green or black tea rinse. Message it into the affected area, rinse and you’ve got dandruff free hair. These drinks also have properties that can help make hair shinier so be sure to spray some into your locks as well!
Soothe A Sunburn- This tip is definitely helpful now that we’re all ready to head out to the beach. Did you know that drinking green tea brings down your body temperature after a sunburn? Yup! It’s true. You can take this tip a step forward and use green tea to create a cold compress in order to help soothe your burnt skin!
Improve Your Oral Health- Drinking green tea is so great for your oral health. It keeps those pearly whites looking whiter, prevents bad breath and gum disease. I’m brewing some up as we speak.
