Did anyone happen to catch any shots from the recent Derek Lam Spring/Summer 2016 show during New York Fashion Week? Well, if you were lucky enough to get a peek, not only was the collection one to remember, but the hair was so easily attainable yet fashion-girl chic, I just had to share the step-by-step to getting that easy “it girl” look. The whole show went for the “I don’t care…but I do” look that we all know, love and wish we could emulate! You know the one – a little undone, but loaded with texture and ease! Well, here’s the good news: you can get this awesome look coined by celeb hair stylist Orlando Pita. Using a few key products by PHYTO Paris and BaByliss Pro USA, this undone, yet styled look can be yours too. Keep reading for some step-by-step tips.

Get the Look in 6 easy steps:
- Part the hair to the side (a bit off center or how the hair naturally falls).
- To prep the hair, add 1-2 pumps of PHYTO PHYTO Keratine Extreme Exceptional Cream to hair. Blow dry with the new BaBylissPRO® Rapido. Do not brush.
- Straighten hair with BaBylissPRO® Nano Titanium™ 1” Ultra-Thin Flatiron.
- Then, using the BaBylissPRO® Nano Titanium™ 1” Spring Curling Iron, wrap hair once around the barrel, then pull the iron down to create a wave without volume. Rake the hair back and create a top section with partings on either side.
- Combine two oils: PHYTO Huile Supreme Rich Smoothing Oiland PHYTO Huile Soyeuse Lightweight Hydrating Oil. Twist hair into a bun at the crown. Let the hair set for ten minutes then un-do bun. Tousle and run fingers through hair to create a piecey, un-coiffed look.
