Dealing with hair removal on your face can be a pretty frustrating experience. Many of us have pretty sensitive skin and deciding on hair removal face cream vs. laser can be a tough call. Take a look at the pros and cons below – and I’m curious – how do you deal with hair removal on your face?
Hair Removal Cream vs Laser: Which is Better?
Laser
· Works by sending a laser beam to the skin – focused on the area with hair growth. The laser destroys the hair follicles beneath the skin. This stops hair from growing.
· A round of 6 to 8 treatments is typically required for permanent results.
· Good long-term results. Hair growth may even stop completely.
· Laser hair removal can be pricey and rather painful.
· It works best for women with dark hair and pale skin – not as effective on blonde or grey hair.
Hair Removal Cream
· Easy to apply at home – just leave on for a few minutes, chemicals will dissolve the hair and the hair will wipe away.
· This can last anywhere from a few days to a few weeks before regrowth occurs. The hair is dissolved at the surface, not the root.
· Very affordable and can be found at drugstores.
· Sensitive skin can be irritated by the harsh chemicals that dissolve the hair.
