Have you ever thought about starting a health and wellness program at your company? It totally can be done (and is easier than you think)! By starting a health and wellness program at your work next year, you have the support of those around you to maintain your healthy commitments and New Year’s Resolutions throughout the day. Check out this simple list to get you thinking about a great 2013 health and wellness program at your office.

2013 Heath and Wellness Program

  • By starting small with a simple exercise and nutrition program, most people will probably be excited to participate.
  • Start a lunch-time walking club. Lead a daily walk in or out of your building to get people up and moving during lunch.
  • Find a way to offer a secure place for bike storage at work. This will encourage people to ride to work when they can.
  • Encourage your coworkers to skip the elevator and use the stairs.
  • Provide healthy snacks at meetings and in the break rooms. Try instant oatmeal, low calorie granola bars or healthy cereal, rather than donuts and pastries for morning meetings.
