Sometimes getting a healthy meal on the run is a major challenge, especially if you’re travelling often and working long hours. But if you can at least take a couple of minutes to start your day right, the rest of your day will fall into place a little more easily. I’ve put together some of my favorite juice recipes to help you grab a healthy beverage in the morning and get a boost of nutrients before facing the rest of your busy day. They may look a little strange but I promise they’re tasty! All you need is a blender to get going.
Healthy Green Juice Recipes
Anti-Bloating Green Juice: Get rid of that puffy, bloated feeling with this simple mix. Recipe: 1 cucumber + 3 stalks of celery + 1/2 lemon + 1 kale leaf + 1 green apple. Found via rawforbeauty.com.
Green Smoothie: To get your veggies and fruits in one smoothie, try mixing: 2 cups of leafy greens (spinach, kale, romaine, bok choy, Swiss chard, collards, dandelion) + 2 cups of liquid (water, coconut water, coconut milk, almond milk) + 3 cups of ripe fruit (banana, mango, berries, orange, avocado, peach, pear, apple, pineapple, grapes). Mean Green for Weight Loss: To help shed a few pounds, try this recipe: 2 medium apples, 4 celery stalks, 1 cucumber, 1 thumb of ginger root, 6 leafs of kale, 1/2 a lemon. Found via juicerecipes.com.
