How To Stay Fit While Working Long Hours

Long hours at work can definitely strike out your routine fitness plans.  After hectic days of meetings, reports, more meetings, and paper work, at the end of the night, the only thing on your mind is climbing into bed and not hitting the gym.  This is all understandable, however, before you allow the guilt of not committing to your workout to get to you, here are some great ways to stay fit and stay on top of your work load at the same time.

– Take the stairs instead of the elevator.
– During your lunch break take a walk and stretch for at least 15 minutes.
– Start an after hour 30 minute workout club.
– Do a 15 minute yoga routine in the park or when you get home.
– Do two set of lunges during your break or before going to work.
– Wake 1 hour earlier and go for a 15-20 minute run.
– Find the nearest gym to your job and run on the treadmill for 20 minutes during your lunch break at least 2-3x per week.
– Ride your bike to work.
– Bring small meals that you can eat throughout the day that will keep you full as well as keep your metabolism high.
