I am so proud of Jessica Simpson for embracing her curves in such a real and candid way. For some women, weight gain during pregnancy comes off easily, but for many it’s a struggle that requires a strict regimen of exercise and healthy eating. Simpson has really embraced her figure, explaining that she wants to be the best role model she can be for her two children. She also knows that staying healthy means eating a balanced diet with lots of exercise mixed in – and that’s why she’s the perfect representative of the Weight Watchers program.

In a recent Good Morning America interview, Jessica looked gorgeous in a nude and black, curve-hugging dress. On motherhood: As a mom I just have this confidence and I just feel so proud of what I’ve done and what I’ve accomplished. And I really do also feel this need to just be the best role model for my children and I want Maxwell to look up to me and want to be like me. I don’t want to give her any false perception of what is real and what’s important.

On the Weight Watchers lifestyle: It just kept me going and I was just so impressed with myself. I’m like, Oh my gosh, I can do this!

On her first pregnancy vs. her healthier approach with the second: I just let myself have whatever I wanted. I didn’t care. It wasn’t about weight gain to me.
