Did you know that September is National Yoga Month? You know what that means? It’s the perfect time to try yoga if you’re new to it and if yoga is a mainstay in your life, it’s time to get out there and check out some new classes or studios. The great thing about National Yoga Month is that there are more than 1500 studios nationwide offering a free week of classes and special events. Why not give it a try? September is official National Yoga Month (a national observance designated by the Department of Health & Human Services) designed to educate about the health benefits of yoga and to inspire a healthy lifestyle.

Seated Hatha Yoga via Do Yoga with Me: All of the poses in this quick but full class are on the ground; seated and lying down. Anastasia begins with a short relaxation, then moves at a nice, gentle pace through poses that target the hamstrings, hips, groin, lower back and IT band, among others. It’s a great way to begin the day or complete a busy work day, especially if you are short on time.
