One of the best parts of summer is hanging out on the deck late into the night with some candles and friends, just laughing and enjoying the great weather. And as we all know, along with those fun times come mosquitos and other bugs who love to bite! Flies at the beach, bugs in your backyard, buzzing insects on your weekend hike: no one likes these annoying critters!
Scratching itchy bug bites is certainly not the best way to spend your time, but loading on the chemical bug repellent isn’t either. For peaceful nights out by the lake, and a chemical–free summer, check out this list of my favorite DIY bug repellents. I’d love to hear which one works best for you!
