I think we all try so hard to maximize our exercise routine that we just want to know the best way to see results! One thing I always wonder is should I eat before working out? The bottom line is, you have to do what’s right for you and your body. Everyone’s body is unique and we all react to exercise in different ways. I try to remember that food gives me energy. If I want to stay energized during my workout, an empty stomach probably won’t give me the push I need. On the days I add healthy snacks and lots of water, my workouts feel great. If I am sluggish, hungry, or haven’t had enough water, my workouts are frustrating.
Should I eat before working out is probably the number one question we all ask our personal trainers, friends, and exercise buddies. It seems like everyone has their own routine. What works best for me, may not be perfect for you, but in general good eating habits and staying hydrated are important.
