5 Signs You’re Experiencing Dehydration

Our bodies are made of 72% water and in order to maintain it’s balance, we need to stay hydrated. When we’re hydrated, our bodies are able to work properly in order to keep us nice and healthy. If you’re experiencing dehydration, it’s time to replenish yourself. Here are some things that happen you’re experiencing dehydration. Check them out and be sure to stay hydrated, ladies.

Dry Skin- When your skin is constantly dry, it could be because you aren’t hydrating yourself properly. When skin feels as though it lacks moisture rather than oil, it means that you’re dehydrated. So the next time you feel your skin is dry, aim for some water rather than a lotion.

Bad Breath- Usually our mouths can fight against bad breath, but when we become dehydrated and our mouth stops producing saliva, bad breath appears. Pretty gross, right? Drink some water for fresher breath.

Headaches- When you feel your head throbbing incessantly, it may because your brain is lacking fluids. In order to increase that fluid and in order to make sure everything is running smoothly up there, hydrate. It’ll help you get rid of that headache and make you feel good again.

Constipation- If you haven’t gone in a while, consider that your stomach needs a little extra water to get things moving. Water keeps your parts moving, as they should.

Food Cravings- This may sound odd, but lack of water causes food craving. Your body releases glycogen when your well hydrated, which is a fuel reserve to keep your body working naturally. When you’re dehydrated, you start to crave sweet or salty foods because your body feels like it’s lacking. Hydrating could help quench those unhealthy food cravings ASAP.
