Spring 2012 Eyeshadow Color Trends

It’s a new year and time to invest on 2012 Spring’s hottest eyeshadow colors.  As seen on the Spring 2012 Runways such as Derek Lam, Marc Jacobs, and Philip Lim.  Here are Spring 2012’s eyeshadow color trends:

1. Gold Tones: Gold is the new black and rich brown jewels shades are spring’s must have neutral.  As seen on Michael Kors, Bottega Veneta and Chloe.  For a more luxurious look mix gold with expresso for a smoky eye effect.   Try Motives Cosmetics “goddess”

2. Orange: This color is perfect for pale or tan skin tones. As seen on the runways of Marc Jacobs, expect to see orange eyeshadows this spring. Try Chanel Spring tangerine.

3. Vegetable: The new “it” color designers didn’t pick one shade but a variation of shades.  Try Dior’s “Secret Garden” shadow in luminous pastels and greens.

4. Jewel Tone colors: Stila released 8 show stopping eyeshadow colors to create a glossy amazing effect for spring.

5. Neutrals: Nudes continue to create interesting looks and look great with pale or tan skin.  Bobbi Brown’s Spring 2012 neutral color palette is essential for any makeup addict.
