Staying Fit With Quick Summer Workouts

Summer is that time of year that our wardrobe consists of maxi dresses, short, sleeveless tops, and tanks, and the winter exercise prize, the bikini.  Our schedules are jammed packed with work, summer evenings in the city, rooftop soirées, day trips, and extended weekend log adventures.  Our normal routine is hijacked for the next tree months by impromptu rendezvous with friends and families.  With all the activity, how do we stay on track with our workouts, and fitness goals.  I am so glad you asked!  Here are just a few quick workouts to help keep you in shape, toned for your summer wardrobe, and feeling great.

Healthy Foods To Eat This Summer

1. Yoga: Spend 15-20 minutes in the morning doing Sun Salutations.  You will feel relaxed and rejuvenated, not to mention, you gently awaken your body to face the physicality’s of the day.

2. Swimming: Take a quick dip.  30 minutes in the pool or ocean works every muscle in your body and helps your cardiovascular system.

3. Jump a rope.  This simple exercise has so many health benefits.  After 20 minutes, your heart rate will increase and you will be in the fat burning zone in no time.

4. Dance: Turn on some music, get happy, and get to moving.

5. Go running: Take a twenty minute run through the park.
