These workouts look easy, but they will whip your booty before you can even blink. Have you tried one? From coast to coast barre workout centers are popping up everywhere, so here’s a few things to know before you try it out for the first time.
Thinking About Trying a Barre Workout?
- Shaking is totally normal. Your thighs will be totally engaged during this workout – more so than you can probably imagine. And, shaking means it’s working.
- Skip the baggy sweats and go with form fitting workout gear that will let you see your body and won’t prevent you from getting your stretch on.
- Your core is key! Shoulders down and back straight, utilizing your core the entire time. You’ll feel stronger and you’ll get even better results.
- Taking breaks is totally OK! This class is tough and it’s going to take you a few times to get used to it.
