Which Skincare Products Should You Avoid?
- Phthalates. These are chemicals that help to soften plastic, but are also found in fragrances.
- Mineral oil and petroleum. These are found in many cosmetics and cleansers and can actually create a build-up of toxins by clogging pores.
- Sodium Lauryl Sulfate. This is what creates suds and makes your face wash bubbly. This chemical is known to leave skin dry and strips healthy natural oils.
